Camp

Kia ora bloggers

On week four of term four at my school we had to go to school at 7:30 the teachers were hoping to go by 7:45 but we left at 8:45 a long time after the teachers were hoping to leave the school for our camp ground. which by the way was in Russel all the way up north.

Now to get to my favorite part well that was when we went to a place called manea footprints of Kupe. there we split up into two groups one group went on a boat to the sand dunes. but my group did the manea experience first. It was cool because we got to see carvings of Maori gods and then we went into a marae and then we watched a shot movie.

But now we are at my favorite thing it was the sand boarding we went on the boat over there and grabbed a board and went up the sand dunes. and then we slid down them it was fun but I only slid down them 3 times then I helped tow of my friends build a sand castle but the water kept make the walls fall down so one of my friends made a ditch for the water to go into and it worked then we had to go back to the bus and we went to the camp ground we were staying at and relalaxed.

HIDING IN THE TERNCHES

ON ANZAC DAY WE WENT TO SCHOOL TO FIND A POSTER SAYING WAR HAS BEEN DECLARED ON ALL THE DOORS. AND THEN WHEN WE WENT IN  STRING WAS  UP ALL OVER THE CLASSROOM. WE HAD TO CRAW AROUND TO MOVE WE COULDN’T STAND UP AND WALK OR WE WOULD BE TOLD OFF BY THE TEACHERS. IT WAS TIRING TO ALWAYS HAVE TO CRAW AROUND  ON THE FLOOR  SOME OF THE MUSCLES IN OUR BODY GOT TIRED FORM ALL THAT CRAWLING AROUND ON THE FLOOR. AFTER THE DAY WAS OVER WE WENT AROUND IN OUR MATH GROUPS AND STARED TAKING THE STRING DOWN FROM IN THE CLASSROOM UNTIL IT WAS CLEAN AND WE COULD WALK AGAIN. IT WAS SUPER FUN UNDER THE STRINGS  BUT WE WERE ALL HAPPY TO BE OUT OF THE STRINGS. IT WAS A GREAT FUN BUT TIRING DAY AND WE WERE ALL HAPPY TO GO HOME AT THE END OF THE DAY.
